Scope
These terms apply to the public Flying Colors website at flyingcolors.school and to the Flying Colors learning application. School pilots and paid deployments may be governed by separate written agreements; where a separate agreement exists, it controls.
Using Flying Colors
Flying Colors is a U.S. civics learning platform currently available through partner schools, co-ops, and programs, with family access opening through an interest list. Use of the learning application requires an authorized account. You may not attempt to bypass account, organization, roster, or access controls.
Accounts and access
Accounts may be created and managed by Flying Colors, a school, co-op, or program administrator, or (when family access opens) a parent or guardian. Students should use the account assigned to them with the permission of a responsible adult. You are responsible for keeping account credentials private.
Acceptable use
Use Flying Colors for learning and program administration. You may not share credentials, access accounts that are not yours, submit unlawful, false, or abusive content (including in inquiry forms and blog comments), interfere with the operation or security of the service, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law.
Learning content and records
The learning application stores progress and practice records so students can pick up where they left off and authorized adults can review learning activity. How that information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy and Data Retention policy.
Ownership
Flying Colors names, designs, lessons, mnemonic artwork, graphics, text, and other content are owned by or licensed to the operator of flyingcolors.school, unless otherwise noted. You may not copy or reuse them except as allowed by law or with permission.
Changes and availability
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or restrict access when needed to protect users, comply with law, maintain the service, or enforce these terms. We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page with an updated date.
No warranties
The website and the learning application are provided as is without warranties of any kind. Flying Colors supports civics learning but does not guarantee any particular test result or academic outcome. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
